Nicolas Roope on ‘Things’ Vs ‘Advertising’

I saw this on Buscuit Barrell a while back but after watching it for the second time I wanted to share on my blog too.

Nicolas Roope, CD & founder of Poke London, talks about the advertising being wasted on internet audiences and that ‘things’ are more successful. Watch his 5 minute presentation and you’ll soon agree with what he’s saying.

Out of about 7 examples of ‘things’ made by Poke London in this presentation I have seen (and interacted with) about 4 of them. I don’t think I could say the same about any agency making internet advertising rather than ‘things’.
