Novelty stickers for your laptop
I’ve heard of these before but never seen any and the other night someone told me to check them out. I found these ones, which I find to be pretty mediocre but quite cool all the same. If you know of any more (or any actual good ones) let me know. I’m not planning on getting any of these, however I do love the squirrel one.

Yelp! I need somebody. Not just anybody.
I recently met some lovely people from Yelp when I was at work. They came to tell us about Yelp and some exciting things coming up in the future. Unfortunately it’s taken me until now to use it for the first time, but now I’ve written my first review on The Marble Hill pub in Twickenham which you can read on my Yelp profile.

You've got to be dotty to paint like this
As I procrastinated in my lunch break today I found this relatively interesting interview with Paul Normansell on A Gallery. What’s considerably better than the interview is Paul’s art work, with incredible detail and original materials. Below is just some of my favourite pieces painted with dots of gloss paint on sheets of aluminium. I’d love to make something like this one day...

My little sisters prove their love for Marmite.
Some of my colleagues have been working with Marmite on creating the Marmarati. To become a member of this elite club you have to prove your love on their site and the top voted entries win a VIP place. Entries are now closed but here’s two of my sisters’ excellent efforts. As I write this Anya is feeling very sick, despite her best efforts. Mia is now protesting that ice...

"I think my blackness is interfering with the...
Just saw this on AdFreak. A new HP computer with a built in camera that is SUPPOSED to follow your face as you move around. However, it turns out for this guy that it doesn’t seem work with dark skin, presumably because it was tested on light skin!

Who really uses phone boxes?
I can’t remember who brought this thought to my attention but ever since they did I’ve been wondering if anyone actually uses telephone boxes anymore. Do you? I’m sure you don’t because you probably have a mobile phone, like me, and everyone else that can speak. Well anyway, after much thought and a little inspiration I’ve found the solution… Hooker Cubicles ...

Graduates paying to advertise themselves on...
As I logged onto Facebook this morning I was greeted with an ad from a graduate looking for a job. If you’re in need of a graduates soul, this one is swapping hers for a job. This is a pretty unique way to try get a job, it’s just a shame that graduates have to resort to paying to advertise themselves. Also, in follow up to my recent post on the standard selling an internship, the...

Great job Weiden. Nice one Kennedy.
Just saw this ad on Brand Freak and LOVE it. I can’t even begin to comprehend the complexity of the editing involved here. After watching it just now I quite literally applauded. Well done to everyone involved it’s great. For more information read this, or wait until next week when it will probably be in Campaign magazine. As for me, I’m going to watch it again, then watch...

Video interview with Senior Creatives: Amber & Dan
I saw this video on Biscuit Barrel ages ago but only got round to watching it now. It’s a great video interview with two really nice creatives called Dan and Amber from YKCR/Y&R and really inspires me to get creative again. I’ve been slacking lately and miss seeing an idea in everything I see and do so I wanna get back into looking and thinking at things. Click the picture to...

Should you comment on this status update? Read...
The other day I wrote a post with a flow chart to help iPhone users decide weather they actually need to use their iPhone at that particular moment in time (read it here). Well, this is a follow up to that post, this time it’s for Facebook users and helps you decide weather you actually need to comment on someones status. Enjoy.

The Sun TV Ad - iPhone parody
Whilst watching the X-Factor last night I was most entertained by this TV ad for the Sun Newspaper. It’s a great parody of an iPhone advert that I can imagine appealing to the target audience massively. Spot on, and hilarious too. I will find out who did it, but not now. It’s Monday morning and I need my second cup of tea urgently. [UPDATE: Credits go to Glue London for this...

Newspaper CHARGES people to do work experience!
What stupid fucking idiot thought, ‘You know what? Let’s charge some desperate bastard over £200 to come do work experience with us without any guarantee of a job and without us having to pay a penny’? The answer to that question may never be found, because it can only be answered by that very moron, openly admitting how much of a complete and utter twat they really are. Yes,...

An important flow chart for any iPhone user...
I’m not an iPhone user. I’m not against using them either. But I do really hate it when people bring the bloody thing into conversation, like when we’re down the pub and someone shows me that fucking beer drinking app AGAIN! If you’re one of those iPhone obsessed people I urge you to save this picture as the background on your beloved piece of technology and refer to it...

Skydiving inside a Coca-Cola bottle
I doubt this is real but even the thought of it makes me very, VERY excited. I want to go play on it SO bad! Mind you, I don’t have any urge to drink Coca-Cola at all. My friend works at an indoor skydiving place in Milton Keynes so I hopefully I’ll go play soon.

So social it hurts
Last night I met up with some people from twitter. None of whom I had met before in actual-real-old-fashioned-face-to-face life. It was weird, but weird-good, because we have ‘known’ each other for months despite never actually meeting before. This meant that we immediately got on like houses on fire (what a weird saying, but not weird-good) and we ended up having a really enjoyable...

Clothes? On Oxford street? Nah, no need.
It’s about time that I left work and spent the evening tending to my social life but I’ve just seen this and think it’s well worth sharing. It’s an ad for Brand Alley, a pretty unknown online store. But I’m sure this will go viral and they’ll be pretty well recognised within a week. I think it would have been better if they did it at night with spot...

Winning a pair of shoes is Simple
For the past few weeks at We Are Social I’ve been working on a few clients, including Simple Shoes. I’ve been writing much of their blog, handling the twitter account and making a fool of myself around central London. Above is a screenshot of the new competition page we’ve made, with my beautiful self chillaxing with my feet up in Oxford Circus. The premise is simple…...

The Phone Box Experiment
]]> I tweeted a link to this but I love it so much that I thought it deserved a whole god damn blog post. Just click play, or here to go to the site. And stop asking questions on what it’s about because I’m not telling you. Thanks. I love you. x
